A baker and a baker’s son, this boy named Thierry Lecompte, was raised upon the true French values of handicrafts: work well done… in the respect of everyone. In the bakery, you must get up early and work hard to please the customer who comes to get his baguette every morning…

Thierry would later take over his parents’ bakery, but it wasn’t long before his passion for music became paramount… An ex-drummer by trade, Thierry learned music “on the job” and played in various bands: blues, rock and pop were his creeds, and the young baker soon developed a strong interest in arrangement and recording.

A young woman named Lisbeth soon caught his attention, even more so as her sublime voice responded to his own, and before long, the two hearts were beating in unison…

And the story was only just beginning… A young lady will be born of this union, which can only be the musical symbol of passionate parents. We’ll be talking more about this soon, for the young woman have had more than one quality placed in her cradle: in addition to her beauty, her parents have passed on to her a love of music and original compositions, with the most crystal-clear voice…

Soon caught up in their passion, the newlyweds finally decided to give up the bakery to dedicate themselves entirely to music and the stage.

The story took them to all the seas of the globe, and for many years, they entertained on cruise liners, 5 pm tea-times, 7 pm drink-times and of course full and wild evenings until dawn… From Pyramids to warm Caribbean seas, the couple brought joy to every passenger and drew the attention of several producers.

Hired on several shows as sound engineer and arranger, Thierry confirmed his skills and network was growing, but the couple nevertheless wished to stay far away from show business and the blinding lights that don’t quite fitted in with their way of life and above all, with their simplicity. Some will even take advantage of this…

When they came back in Metropolitan France, the couple settled in in the south of France, coming back to different musical activities: Lisbeth started out in the events business with a rapid success due to the delight of spectators and the musical evenings that were always successful, where she devoted herself without limit. Before long, requests were flooding in for different events where she loved to bring joy and enthusiasm; Thierry, for his part, set up his own recording studio. Few producers and many of well-known and up-and-coming artists got in touch with him, and recordings followed recordings, until that day in December 2022 when a chance meeting changed their lives: a young musical collective, “Be aware of Rock”, was born, without realizing it…

The third of our cheeky guys: Born in North America at the age of 15, already a fan of Jerry Lee Lewis, he was one of the few French members of the JLL International Fan Club. Jesse Tank teenage years were spent listening to rock music and then hard rock. He grew up in France in a council estate and, from the age of thirteen and a half, was confronted to the harsh reality of work, where he quickly understood that the only way out was to learn and to work hard…

Born in a family striving to rise, in this France of vengeful accents where the cobblestones flew low, “the slaps you take forge your character”, especially when you were an unexpected child and a bit on the fringe, music and new meetings have made his life of hard work an explosive yet joyful concert, often with an international flavour.

“Where there’s a will, there’s a way”, he kept saying to himself, and one day in Norway, he drew his first lucky card when he met a young woman who became his wife and gave birth to three children. Throughout this life of toil for the five of them from now one, he never stopped working during the day and often wrote songs at night, in all styles and in several languages, to counter the stress of work and his anxieties, privileged musical moments when you forget everything, to give to your life with its Rock’n’roll accents, that musical side he loved but couldn’t bring to light.

After several musical attempts with varying fortunes, fate smiled on him once again, and following his decision to emigrate to the sunny south of France, after a somewhat difficult period of settling in due to the restoration of a house that occupied him for several years, he decided to “finally do something with all those songs written over the years”, and answered a musical classified ad from Thierry Lecompte, and this encounter was to turn his life, their lives, upside down…
